Janet Dolan - Hypnotherapist

According to the Law of Aerodynamics, it is impossible for the bumblebee to fly- due to its wingspan in relation to its body mass. But, the bumblebee - being unaware of this, goes ahead and flies anyway.

Introspective Hypnosis is a method that has proven to treat different conditions in just one session. I am a certified practitioner of this technique.

Introspective Hypnosis is a technique for the treatment of psychological disorders such as phobias, fears, sorrows, anorexia, bulimia, low self esteem, insecurity, migraine, obesity, obsessions and allergies. It is also used in medicine and dentistry for pain suppression.

Using hypnosis we get access to a person's subconscious and go to the origin of those psychosomatic symptoms. Once we understand the psychological or emotional origin and deal with it, the symptom disappears.

Hypnosis for Childbirth is comprised of 4 sessions:

Session 1: Relaxation Session (1:1)

Session 2: Pain Management Session (1:1 plus extra recording)

Session 3: Pre Childbirth Session (1:1)

Session 4: Child Birth day (Recording)

All sessions are recorded seperately for you to take home.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy has been used for over 100 years to help with a range of issues from fears and phobias to low self esteem.

Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy used to reprogram the mind. When under hypnosis you put your mind and body into a heightened state of learning, making you more susceptible to suggestions for self improvement and behavior modification.

Many describe hypnosis as a state of focused attention  laving them feeling calm and relaxed.

Is Hypnosis safe?

Completely. Hypnosis is a non-intrusive therapy where YOU are always in control. There are many myths surrounding hypnosis, including the ideas that people in a hypnotic state may act against their will or reveal private information. These scenarios, often portrayed in books or movies, are fabrications meant merely for entertainment. In truth, the hypnotic state is more like a vivid daydream, where you remain in control. Morals and ethics remain intact, as does your sense of privacy.

Hypnosis is non-invasive and has no side effects. Most people are not aware that they actually undergo hypnosis every day. The trance-like feelings you experience while reading a book, watching a movie, or daydreaming are all hypnotic states characterized by focused attention.

How many sessions will I need for a full treatment?

Most people only need one session. However, some people benefit from having follow up sessions. It is an individual thing.

How will I feel whilst under a hypnotic trance?

At no time is the subject is asleep or loses consciousness. The experiences can be auditory (as if listening), visual (as if seeing) or kinesthetic (sensations they feel). Nobody does things against their moral principles. The hypnotized person has control over their actions and their code of ethics and moral principles are still intact.

Upon awakening the patient can remember everything, partially or nothing. This depends on several factors, including the orders of the hypnotist and traumatic experiences. No one stays hypnotized. If left in this state, the hypnotic dream becomes natural and the person awakes sometime later normally.
